Things to Do in Charlotte: Summer Pops concerts at SouthPark

THESE DATES ARE FOR THE 2007 SUMMER CONCERT SERIES. I TRIED TO ACCESS THE SYMPHONY SITE FOR 2008 DATES, BUT IT WASN’T WORKING.

Bring out your blankets and picnic baskets-Summer Pops concerts at SouthPark will be performed, as they have for the past thirteen years, on the four Sundays in June. The Sunday Summer Pops concerts at Symphony Park will again be presented free-of-charge through the commitment of the Visa Signature card, the series’ Presenting Sponsor.

Performances begin at 7 p.m. with special guests. The orchestra plays at 8:15 p.m.

Come celebrate Independence Day early with rousing tunes and thrilling fireworks. Once again, First Charter sponsors the Charlotte Symphony’s annual patriotic concert, Celebrate America! on June 30 at 7 p.m. This concert is also free.

The dates and the days of the week do not agree for the surrounding area concerts. Could you correct and republish?

    Thank you,
